Hi, I'm Josephine.
I'm a senior at Cornell University studying Information Science with concentrations in UX, Interactive Technology, and Data Science, plus a minor in Business. I graduate in December 2026.
I'm most interested in the intersection of technology, design, product, and analytics, building things that are as considered in their logic as they are in their craft.
My Story

I've never really wanted to choose between being creative and being analytical. I love the visual side of design, but I'm just as interested in the logic underneath it: why people behave the way they do, what the data is saying, and how all of those pieces come together into a product.
That's a big reason I ended up studying Information Science at Cornell. UX gave me a way to be creative, data gave me a way to question my assumptions, and business made me think more seriously about why something should exist in the first place. Over time, I realized I'm happiest working somewhere in the middle of all of them.
Outside of work and school, I'm usually playing tennis, sitting at a piano, singing way too much karaoke, planning my next trip, or convincing someone to try a new restaurant with me. I'm naturally curious about people, places, and the little details that make an experience memorable, which is probably why I ended up loving product and design in the first place.
What I Care About
Design with empathy
Understand the person before the interface. The best solution is usually the one someone actually needs.
Make complexity feel simple
Complicated systems shouldn't feel complicated. Structure, hierarchy, and restraint do most of that work.
Use evidence, not assumptions
Research and data keep opinions honest, and make design decisions easier to defend.
